The only ER in Corona, Norco and Eastvale, we recently unveiled a new addition, with more room to serve you with separate walk-in and ambulance entrances, shelled space for future patient rooms and more, including:
- Four times the space. Enlarged from 5,400 to about 20,000 square feet to serve our more than 46,000 and growing, ER patients per year
- Increase in number of beds – from 16 to 30
- Shorter wait times and Rapid Medical Evaluation area for less emergent conditions
- More nursing stations to improve visibility and patient care
- Dedicated room for private consultations with medical staff
- New CT scan and MRI housed in the ER allows for quicker testing
- Stroke Telemedicine with UC Irvine affiliation. Highly trained neurologists use advanced technology to remotely view, diagnose and treat ER patients exhibiting signs of stroke. It’s as if the neurologist is right at your bedside!
Corona Regional was recently recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association with the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke SILVER PLUS Achievement Award. The award is given to hospitals for their continued success in following evidence-based treatment guidelines that improve patient care and outcomes in their community.
